I learned a new word.

The word is "ephemeral"

əˈfem(ə)rəl/

adjective
lasting for a very short time

                                                     

     I really like this word a lot, it's a really cool word I think...

and it can be applied to a lot of different things,

but what I'm thinking of right now is my whole teenagerdom. 

I LOVE BEING A TEENAGER
like literally all i have to do is go to school and make mistakes and have fun
and i'm gooooooooooood
(and ya know stress about papers, boys, hormones, zits, and the general uneasiness of high school)
but still! i love being a teenager and it only lasts for seven years ONLY 7 years that's the shortest phase in your life besides infancy + toddler-ness.
ugh
and then you have to spend the next like 50+ years as an ADULT
like how lame????!!!!!
(not to knock adulthood, it just doesn't sound all that fun)
like taxes and home-ownership and mating for life and dealing with issues ugh
well..........

 I only have two more years of high school and four more of being a teenager at all.   

Soon I'm going to be 16 

((and there is a huge difference between 15 and 16))

not really... but the difference will be that I can legally work and stuff
I'll be old enough to donate blood
I'll be into the "upper teenage years"
you know, out of the "awkward" years
and into the
"oh-my-god I should be like the girls from all the TV shows about teens right now"
(because literally EVERYONE on those shows are Juniors-Seniors)
It's like the difference between "tween and teen" because there IS a difference!
ITS LIKE THESE ARE THE REAL WONDER YEARS
(ha ha ha they're like 12)
PS i re-watched a few episodes of the wonder years last night

so, time to get my gossip girl on and try to be less awkward, huh?
