Alright, I wore this yesterday but I got home late and I was

SO EXHAUSTED.

anyways, It was warm enough to wear fun spring clothes

(which made me happier than a clam)

So, I wore my favorite thing ever.

My overalls I found in the Goodwill in Salem, they were just chilling there looking perfect.

So, I HAD to buy them.

oh funny story, I actually am going to Goodwill today with some friends of mine which I'm excited about.

Goooodbye Winter!

WELL TODAY'S THE LAST DAY OF WINTER

and man, I gotta say I'm gonna miss being able to wear black and velvet and tights without getting overheated.... BUT! The cool thing is that now I can wear my pretty dresses, short-er-alls, cool sunglasses, and a bunch of other cool outfits I can't wear in the winterish-times.

I'm very excited but also very sad at the same time.

As much as I love Spring, I'm gonna miss winter because of all the

cool clothes I won't be able to really wear

while it's warm.

which means I have to pack up my kitchsy sweaters, 

my velvet pieces, 

and everything else i know and love!!

(I'm being over-dramatic)

Today is Tuesday.

And it was cold as heck.

So i looked into my arsenal of sweaters and vests 

and i found this.

I bought this back in December for like $6 at JC Penney during one of their after-christmas sales.

But let me tell you if you can't tell already ITS SOFT AS HECK

I FEEL LIKE IM WRAPPED IN COTTON CANDY WITHOUT THE GROSS STICKY AFTER-FEELING... I THINK THAT THIS IS WHAT LOVE FEELS LIKE

The Vegan Suicides / Cecelia Lisbon

Yesterday I watched The Virgin Suicides for the very first time.

I think it's safe to say you can trust the hype.

I really enjoyed the movie, and that's just my own alijah opinion.

(and you don't have to agree)

BUT

Cecelia Lisbon and her dress

This dress is absolutely everything in my opinion.

It's so beautiful and lacy and flowy.

It's like the definition of spring/summer in a dress.

ahhhhhhh

it's dreamy.

ANYWAYS BACK TO THE DRESS

It's lovely and my new favorite thing in the world.

I will be scouring thrift stores and vintage shops to find a dress like it.

Is it bad that I'm tempted to make a shrine to this dress? 

I hope not, because I am.

What do you do when your friends all ignore you?

You get on Netflix and you get invested into an extremely long series of shows 

like Skins or Gossip Girl.

You get into it, like really into it.  You start hating your own boring teenage life and you wish that you lived more.  You start to wonder if you'd be twice as cool if you were in

this elite group of teenagers.

You start wishing they were your friends.

You start to idolize them.

You start to want to become them.

You start to feel close to them.

You relate.

You feel like you know them?

yeah... yeah.

sorry I haven't been blogging as much

real life has been way too dramatic and 

teenager-ish and fun for me to stop and blog about stuff

(who are we kidding? i'm boring as heck, i was just too lazy to write anything)

ANYWAYS, My second-favorite time of the year is coming up

That time in March around Marginal Arts Festival

Where time stops, stress pauses and 

you just chill out, take fun classes

and breathe

and take in all of the coolness that 

surrounds you.

I'm just excited I think. 

Ain't it weird that 2014 has passed three months already?

But this time last year I dyed my bangs blonde in the school bathroom.

Cotton candy was attempted to be made in the gallery

and the fire alarms went off

We licked the pole.

We drank gross blue sugared water.

We looked art.

We sat in alleys.

We didn't worry about jackets or gloves or hats or coats.

This time of year is great.

You don't need to really worry about the temperature.

You just kind of need the essentials WHICH ARE...

SHIT I WANT FOR SPRING/SUMMER.

The list includes: 

I want a pair of jelly sandals so bad, and a big black hat, some cool sunnies, a blue cross body purse (this one's kate spade but lord knows I can't afford that), a fujifilm instax mini, and last but not least i really really want a cute strappy flowy floral dress like this one.  It might be #1 on my list.

I also want a pair of turquoise ankle-strapped wedges.
