Floyd Fest

(everything thrifted)

Yesterday was Floyd Fest, the local music festival on top of a mountain that involves camping and nice hippies and a lot of good music and fun.

I woke up at around 7-ish am

so that I could meet Eve-lynn for breakfast at the pancake house a town over 

(not really a town over its like 10 minutes from my house but technically a town over)

But we had pancakes and it was super yummy.

buuuuut we were early so we went back to her house and watched videos until it was time to meet at the school.

We went and had a lot of good fun.

It was a really fun experience

The school band performed and then we walked around for like 45 minutes and then embarked back to city life.

It was loads of fun, on the way back we stopped by this super vintage-looking supermarket and bought candy... Once we were back home Eve-lynn and I bought a bunch of sugary treats, (like moon pies, and brownies) and sat in a secret place and ate them

It was super rad

Salad Days

This dress reminds me of salad and I don't actually know why

like no salad is that green.

This dress just makes me feel like i need to be twirling around in a green, flower-filled meadow in the summertime or something like that...

whatever it is about this, i dig it!

PS Mac Demarco is sooosoososooooooooooo good

like Let Her Go is one of my fave songs from the salad days album and it makes me feel swell inside

Fairy Princess

(I'm literally wearing two slips, a flower crown, and a white button down shirt that i cut the collar off of)

I'm a princess, duh.

Sorry for my prolonged not-posting-anything period.

But it's been super hot and i've been super lazy.  For the majority of the summer, I've been inside my house... Like I know how bad that sounds but it's actually been really really relaxing like I feel really great :~)

I've made flower crowns and zines and I've written letters to friends... 

Don't take this the wrong way but I've been feeling like the female lead character in an indie movie on Netflix.

P.S. Kirsten Dunst is seriously amazing because I can't think of anyone else who has the ability to look 13 and 30 in the same movie (I'm talking about Marie Antoinette - the Sofia Coppola movie) 

Buuuuuut, I'm leaving my house for the rest of the summer

I mean I'm still going to be here, I'm just also going to be doing more things

my relaxation period of the summer is over

time to actually do stuff (yay!)
