Musical Saturday : Nat & Alex

Today, I’m going to do something a bit fun. I’m going to tell you all about two of my favorite celebrities.

Nat & Alex Wolff.

These two cute brothers have been in my life since 2007 (they were the first boys I ever fangirled over). They’re most well known for their roles in the Nickelodeon show “The Naked Brothers Band” and in the show, they made music and played shows. The show was cancelled in 2009, and I know I was not the only heartbroken fifth grader! So, one boring night two years later, I was on the computer and somehow stumbled upon Black Sheep… (check it out here)

After I found out about that, I was absolutely and positively hooked, I admit some of the songs were a bit deep for my thirteen year old self to fully comprehend but I loved them nonetheless. When I heard about their Black Sheep tour I wanted to go to bad, I remember sobbing because my mother wouldn’t let me go all the way to Vienna to see them, I was crushed. Though, I admit it was probably for the best, I most likely would have screamed too loud or passed out or embarrassed myself somehow.
Back to the topic though, Black Sheep is a really super fantastically great album. If you asked me to explain it, I couldn’t… The best I can do is say that there’s lovely ballads, a bit of angsty teen rock, and some indie mixed in there.  Currently, they’ve got three demo songs out: “Call You”, “Over My Mind”, and my personal favorite “Fire and Kerosene”...

Music isn’t all that the boys have been up to though. They have appeared in numerous films and plays.

Nat has been in the films “Admissions”, “Stuck In Love”, “New Year’s Eve”, and many more. Nat is currently working on the film adaptation of John Green’s book The Fault In Our Stars (which by the way is an amazing book if you haven’t read it yet, I suggest you read it.) He’s not only working on that but also a movie called “Behaving Badly” with Selena Gomez
Don’t think that Alex hasn’t been up to anything though. The curly haired cutie has been writing and performing his own plays at the Flea Theatre in New York City.  He was also in the film “The Sitter” with actor Jonah Hill.
So, with all of that said, these two talented boys have a lot going for them, and I think they’ll make it pretty far.
(I have to admit that this was a bit biased though, as I am a wolffie...)
Check them out!!
Until next time!
xoxo,

Gossip girl (jk… it’s Alijah)
